DRIVING LICENSE AND AGE

Valid national or international driver's license held at least two years and minimum 23 years of age for groups (A-E), 25 years of age for groups (F,G,H,I,K, KA,N,M) and minimum three years of driver's license and 28 years of age for groups (L,LA) are required.

RENTAL PERIOD

Minimum rental is 24 hours. Any rental period less than 24 hours also requires a whole day rate.

TYPES OF RENTAL AND RATES

Unlimited Km. Daily rates apply. No additional charge per Km. Special rates and conditions apply for long term periods (minimum rental of 1 month). Rates are inclusive of oil, maintenance, third party insurance (up to legal limits), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Insurance, Airport Fees, 24 hours Road Assistance, Local taxes, 18% V.A.T., exclusive of gasoline. PAYMENT

You can pay 20-30% of total rate at the time of booking and the rest at car pick up. If your arrival date is less than 3 days at the time of booking full payment may be required. Major credit cards Visa/Mastercard, cash are accepted for payment. If you prefer to pay by another method, please contact us for payment details. Final bill will be settled at the end of rental and for possible extra expenses at this time, a sufficient deposit of Euro 300 minimum ( where applicable) or blank credit card slip should be given. Important Note : In Turkey we can charge credit cards in Turkish Lira from the exchange currency selling rate at the date the card is charged. Your bank may use the buying exchange rate to reconvert it in to your own currency in your credit card statement. Thus, you may see 2 to 5 % difference in charged amount, in your credit card statement. Also some banks may charge a small fee for international transactions. For clients who want to avoid currency exchange rate differences, we suggest to pay cash or by cards taken from a turkish bank connected to YTL account. INSURANCE

Rates include Third Party Insurance (up to legal limits), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection. Insurance (CDW) does not cover windscreen and headlight breakage, type punctures and theft of spare tyre. This can be waived by buying optional HTW (Headlight, Tyres, Windscreen) insurance for groups (A-H) ; for 1 to 7days at EU 5 per day for 8 days and over at EU 4 per day, for groups (K-M); for 1 to 7 days at EU 8 per day for 8 days and over at EU 6 per day. However, collision damage waiver is void if driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, had passed the legal speed limits, the traffic report is not obtained from the police, damaged car and traffic report not returned to the nearest Proper office in 48 hours. Insurance also does not cover the damages due to the misuse of the car and damages caused by gross negligence. Exceptions to CDW insurance : Antenna, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, mirrors, glass, wheels, tires, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, warning triangles, damage to the upholstery of the car, extreme dirtiness in the car, underside damage, damage due to negligence, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turn on electrical devices. If the car/ cars are stolen, the car keys not returned to nearest office, the customer may be responsible for paying rental fee up to the date the car/cars founded (where applicable). This limit is only 30 days. If the car/cars are not founded at the end of this limit, the client does not pay any rental fee for further days when CDW is bought and police is informed at the time of the theft.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Available at EU 7 per day at the start of rental. Covers the personal injuries caused by traffic accident to the renter while driving in the limits of the rental car's insurance policy. Non-Turkish citizens usually do not need that insurance as their personal health insurance or travel insurance may cover the personal injuries.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER

Additional drivers must register at the start of rental, otherwise insurance becomes void. Fee for each additional driver is for 1 to 7days at EU 3 per day for 8 days and over at EU 2 per day.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

There is no delivery and collection fee at the cities where Proper offices are during the office working hours. Otherwise, the fee applies EU 0.25 per Km to the nearest Proper office.

FUEL POLICY

Vehicles are not provided full tank, so client should return the vehicle at the same level. There is no refund for unused fuel. If the vehicle returned with less petrol than given it will be charged. However, client may request pre-paid full tank at the time of booking to be paid at pick up. The car should be returned empty when it is provided with pre-paid full tank otherwise there is no refund for unused fuel.

DELAYED RETURN

For each hour the charge is 1/3 of total daily bill. If it's more than 3 hours then it will be counted as an extra day.

TRAFFIC FINES

Legal responsibilities resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period must be payed by renter.

OFF BORDER

There is no off border rental available and our cars can not be taken abroad.

OTHER SERVICES

Cars can be rented with chauffeurs and tourist guides. Mobile phones, child seat (EU 3/day), luggage rack (EU 5 /day) with prior notice. All kind of travel agency services such as hotel reservations, transfers, tours can be organized.
